August 14

I had a tight schedule as usual. In the morning I take writing lab and practice description in English. In the afternoon taking about two hours we visited Montgomery County Agricultural Fair. The Fair includes farm and carnival. Pig and duck race is impressive for me. Child pigs are cute:)

And then I went to Karaoke again. Maybe sitting up late is not good for my health. But I’m rarely tired because it was fun.

Dear Mimaki,
I am in awe of your powers of endurance. You never seem to get tired! Anyway, now I think you will have some time to rest and recuperate from these strenuous two weeks in Maryland. Sorry I missed hearing you sing at karaoke. I agree with you that piglets are cute!
Have a good trip back home, and keep on blogging!

Hey Mimaki! I was very pleased to meet you for the one day we had the panel discussion at the University of Maryland. I hope your flight back to Japan was good. I felt bad because I had to leave very early on Tuesday, so I didn't get to say goodbye. I was wondering if we'd be able to keep in contact? I have a blogger myself, and my email is fpopkin@mail.umd.edu. I hope to hear from you again!

I'm sure that staying late isn't good for you, but now that you're back home you can catch up on your sleep and I doubt it will have affected your health at all!

Take care and I'll see you again SOON! >o<
